This is a sensory-loaded experiential Sculptures immersion art programme tailored for young children. Pupils go through a Sculptures exploration tour at STUDIO-GDMC and look at various Ceramic Sculptures. They interact with various ceramic forms.
In the pottery studio, pupils observe how a ceramicist whips up a Vessel Form on the throwing wheel within minutes, as well as see how simple clay forms can be created just with our hands and fingers.

Children work as a group to co-create a large pot with the ceramicist!

Children engage with clay play and each child will create their first unique vessel or sculpture complete with colours.
