Dip glazing is one of the oldest methods of glaze application. A perfect 'dip' comes with good glaze preparation and application technique.
Learn how to prepare your bisque-ware for glazing and how to immerse your work into glazes to create the perfect glaze surface for your work.
Our experienced instructor will teach you how to prepare glazes and gain an insight into various categories of glazes (ranging from matt, semi gloss, textured and textured glazes).
Please bring 2 - 3 pieces of your fired bisque-ware into the class.
(Cone 6 clay body).
Cost of workshop includes the use of glazes. Works can be fired at an additional cost.
Class is designed specifically for intermediate throwing students and emerging artists. Class size is limited to 12 participants per workshop so please book early.
