Experience the surprising flexibility and tactile nature of clay.

This hands-on programme is designed for the absolute beginner and those wanting to discover a different side of ceramics. In the 4 sessions, you will be introduced to the techniques that are the backbone of hand building and discover what is possible with clay. You will explore various aspects of working with clay including pinching, coil building, slab work and glazing.

 

Designed for anyone over 15 years.

 

Join the fun with the first Lessons starting each month on the first Saturday of the month.  Lessons coinciding with a public holiday will be pushed back to the following week. Special arrangements can be made for groups larger than four people.

 

Price includes instruction by our artist, all materials, every form fired to hardened form (bisque fired).
