ABOUT US AND OUR STUDIO

Goodman Ceramic Studio is run by a dedicated team of ceramicists and artists. Many programmes are jointly taught by our studio staff. This includes Tom Lim, a veteran in wheel throwing and Hazel Wong, a ceramic muralist.
Our duty manager, Fe keeps the house in order and continue to bring the benefits of ceramics into the public and private sectors as well as the community at large.
Located within the Goodman Art Centre, our studio is nestled amongst old school buildings. The space is bright and spacious with luxurious foliage all around. We are just a 15 minutes drive from the city centre and 3 minute walk from Mountbatten MRT. GCS is the perfect meeting place for budding and established ceramic artists in the community.
We are a multi user studio, providing a space for students and artists alike. We have a range of studio access schemes available for you to practice your craft. Our studio has 8 kilns ranging from 1.5 – 12 cubit feet for rental, as well as clay and other equipment available. Most kilns are production kilns with precise firing capabilities. We are also a stockist and sole agent for Laguna Clay, Axner.com and L & L Kilns and supply our own brand of glazes called GCS Glazes.
